About Us
Talking Threads is a magazine style programme that explores the colourful world of textile art. It aims to inspire people to be creative with fabric and stitch. Originally a ten part series on Sky, the series is now available on DVD with extended episodes.
It is produced by Colouricious, a creative TV and DVD production company, in collaboration with The Country Channel.
Colouricious is based in Buckinghamshire. Below you can meet two members of the Colouricious team.
Jamie and Holly spend most of their time in the Colouricious stitch shed or the art room; researching for a current project or simply stitching up mini works of art!

Jamie Malden MA BEd(Hons)
Producer, presenter and textile artist
I adore colour, stitch and pattern. I hate to throw anything away- in my own work I always find ways to incorporate all manner of things. I enjoy creating beautiful multimedia pieces out of bits that would otherwise go in the bin. There are so many wonderfully talented artists that have inspired me, in turn I want to share with you their enthusiasm. With Talking Threads we want to inspire people to be creative, to be confident and to above all find joy in learning new skills.

Holly Pulsford
Co-presenter and creative designer
I love all things stitched so working on Talking Threads has been such a treat! I graduated from Loughborough University in Printed Textiles in 2008 and have since been working for Colouricious. I spend my weekends scouring car boot sales and charity shops in search of vintage fabrics, buttons and old wooden bobbins. I hoard, my studio is never tidy! I also adore drawing, I love creating intriguing illustrations which I print onto fabrics.
