Myfanwy Hart is a textile artist who loves to dye her own fabrics. This week on Talking Threads Myfanwy shares with us her love of colour and demonstrates the exciting results you can achieve by hand dyeing your own fabric.
Myfanwy leads many workshops across Britain. Venues include Urchfont Manor in Wiltshire, Missenden Abbey in Buckinghamshire and Busy Bees, in South Wales.
Myfanwy is the smiley face behind Winifred Cottage and Sassa Lynne. Myfanwy hand dyes yarns and fabrics in scrummy serendipitous colour palettes for you to buy and enjoy.
Pop along to the Amersham Art Gallery this week to see some of Myfanwy's work in the Fabric of Life Exhibition, 27th Nov - 5th Dec. You will also be able to see work by other Talking Threads artists including Ann Griffiths and Gilda Baron. Jamie and Holly will also be displaying some of their textile pieces! All work displayed at this exhibition is for sale, every piece unique and affordable. Visit the Talking Threads blog for more details...
